PLEXITRAC RUNNING TRACK SURFACES
Advanced running track surface systems for indoor and outdoor athletic facilities.
Plexitrac systems are advanced track surfacing systems designed to provide runners with the highest levels of surface performance for competition and cushioning for safe training.
Plexitrac high-performance track surfacing systems made with proprietary Poly-Resin binders strike the perfect balance between dynamic response needed for running performance and cushioning appropriate for athlete safety.
Plexitrac maintains a long-time commitment to providing runners with technologically advanced track systems. All of our track systems have been developed to minimize musculoskeletal stress and fatigue, reducing the probability of injuries and accidents.
Plexitrac Systems deliver on that commitment while exceeding the demands of facility owners who, in addition to athlete safety, must consider a myriad of performance, environmental and budgetary factors when choosing a running track. Plexitrac Systems continue to surpass the competition in customer satisfaction over the life of the surface.
Plexitrac Systems embody today's most innovative technological advances and are the preferred running tracks for thousands of new installations around the world. Plexitrac Systems are also the smart choice for retexturing, rejuvenating and enhancing existing asphalt, SBR latex, urethane and rubber-asphalt running tracks.
Plexitrac Systems are formulated to be the most durable, water-based, resilient track surfaces on the market today. Plexitrac Systems meet or exceed the IAAF requirements for spike resistance, force reduction, modified vertical deformation, and slip resistance.
A Running Track with All Weather Capacity
Plexitrac Systems are proven performers in all climatic conditions. Our proprietary coating system protects Plexitracs against fade and degradation from the heat and sun even in harsh UV environments like the South Pacific, Dubai, and Australia. The granular EPDM rubber meets the IAAF requirements for slip resistance, a common challenge in rainy climates like the Northwest US and much of Florida. Plexitrac Systems resist the snow and winter cold that degrade lesser running tracks.
Plexitrac Systems allow athletes to perform safely in a full range of temperatures. From 40º-120ºF (4 - 49ºC), the performance properties of the track remain favorable for training and competing.
